Here's Every Single Car You Can Still Buy In Yellow In 2023 (2024)

Year in and year out, some combination of black, white, silver and gray are the top four car color choices in America, and that’s a shame. Having such boring color options can make you forget that some manufacturers offer really sick hues. And to me, the sickest color of all is yellow. Nothing makes a regular car a little zestier than a yellow paint job.

I was reminded of this fact as I drove a Flare Yellow Lexus RC F around southern California a few weeks ago. To me, the whole car was elevated by the very pretty paint. Every time I’d walk up to it, I felt a sense of occasion. A gravitas.

It got me thinking: just how many yellow cars are left? Well, as it turns out, there are still tons — it’s just on us to start buying them. Oh, and as it turns out, yellow cars also depreciate the least! Call that a good investment.

As you go through this list, you’re probably going to notice that I’ve left off some automakers like Ferrari, Lamborghini, Maserati, Porsche, McLaren and Lotus. They all make yellow cars. We already knew that. That’s not the point of this list. I’m here to show you that there are plenty of regular-ish cars you can still get in yellow. And let’s be honest: you’re not buying a McLaren, anyway.

Stick out from every other Acura with Tiger Eye Pearl! It may seem a little bit loud at first, but trust me, this is the way to get a Type-S. Everyone will like you more, and your spouse won’t leave you this time.

Python Yellow is such a pretty color, and Audi should feel shame that it does not offer it on more of its vehicles. Audis are the perfect candidate for loud paint colors, because overall their stying is extremely subdued.

At least the R8 also comes in Yellow, but does that really count?

Yellow Mustangs are good because the color is like a high visibility jacket. It lets you know to avoid this person at all costs. Alternatively, the Bronco heritage colors are so warm and inviting that they make you want to give the truck a hug. The duality of man.

Basically, Ram sells the 1500 Classic. It’s almost exclusively a fleet vehicle, and because of that, Ram gives it some very fleet-ish colors. That’s how you end up with: Constriction Yellow, Detonator Yellow, School Bus Yellow, and simply “Yellow” as color options. It may be the best vehicle on sale today.

The color you’re seeing here is the very desirable “School Bus Yellow.” It’s lovely, isn’t it?
